Carl Dobbs Memorial Scholarship 
The scholarship will cover the cost of tuition (approx. $3000 to $3800) for a full-time, active police officer of the rank of Sergeant or above to attend one of the 10-week offerings of the School of Police Staff and Command of Northwestern University’s Center for Public Safety. If awarded, the scholarship must be used by December 31 of the following year they are awarded.[10/24]

Jacob J. Novak Scholarship 
The scholarship shall provide the funding necessary to cover expenses of tuition, study materials, food and lodging for candidates selected to attend the 10-week School of Police Staff and Command of Northwestern University's Center for Public Safety in Evanston, Illinois. If awarded, the scholarship must be used by December 31 of the following year they are awarded. Recipients are notified about the scholarships in March or April, and the awards are presented during the association's Annual Conference in April. Recipients then work with Northwestern to select dates mutually suitable. Recipients must use the scholarship by December 31 of the following year they are awarded. [10/24]
