The Knights of Columbus Council 6481 will sponsor a special Blue Mass honoring first responders and health care workers at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at St. Emily Catholic Church, 1400 E. Central Rd., Mount Prospect.

The Blue Mass will recognize and honor the men and women who serve others in times of emergency, crisis, danger, and need. All first responders and health care workers, active or retired, are invited to attend, including police officers, firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, emergency room doctors and nurses, National Guard members, and all public safety personnel.
